Class Info

Over this 7-week live class you will learn how to build an exciting pitch for your tv series. You will find and hone the emotional hook of your story and then break down each element of the pitch as you develop and write your own pitch.

This class will consist of:

1. 7 Live Lectures to help you understand each step and build your pitch (Thursday at 8pm PT, starting January 16 2025). Recordings will be available after each class for those who can't attend live.
2. Live Q&A after each class lecture
3. Cheat Sheet Development Worksheets - tools I've developed to jumpstart your process and move FAST in the right direction, laid out for you to easily workshop with your own project
4. Access to an online community of writers of all levels for feedback, inspiration, and connection

Classes will be held virtually (link to webinar will be available closer to the start date), and each class will have a weekly assignment to build out the next step in your pitch. By the end of the class, you'll have a fully developed tv series and have a pitch ready to share.

We'll break down the process class by class, and by the end you'll have an engaging and exciting pitch ready to take out!

About the Instructor:

Chris Amick is a writer and producer based in Los Angeles. He works in both TV and Film, animation and live action, comedy and drama. He's sold pitches to Adult Swim, Max, Comedy Central, Netflix, Dreamworks TV, as well as studios and independent producers working across tv and film. He's served as Co-Executive Producer/Head Writer: KUNG FU PANDA THE DRAGON KNIGHT on Netflix, Story Editor: FINAL SPACE, Writer: KIPO AND THE AGE OF WONDERBEASTS, and DIE HART 2.
